The Cosmic Christ

Two artists in Google Art, Storbel and Kulmbach, gave me reason to ponder. Jesus is neither up nor down. In the picture, most of him is in heaven. His feet are poking below clouds in easy reach of earth. It seems a tug of war between God and humanity was occurring. That matched my initial perception struggle. The Ascension requires an expansion and enlightenment of our mind and soul. It invites us to see the cosmic Christ is down here and up there. In all matter and in all time. We pray for simple depth.
