Isaiah 49:8-15, Ps 145, John 5:17-30

The hard option

The actions I see Jesus doing are actions I must allow him to do in me. My willingness to be saved from my sinfulness means putting myself before Jesus to be judged. That means opening up the deepest part of my soul for Jesus to touch. Jesus can already see into my soul. Feeling his loving judgement is part of seeking holiness. When I let Jesus Christ raise up my innermost self I feel like I am entering a time of pain and suffering. That is what Jesus is experiencing. Am I with him?
