2 Sam 7:1-5,8-12,14,16 God chose the prophet Nathan to advise David as a future king. The temple had to be built for the people but according to God’s plan, a display of God’s power rather than his own.

Lk 1:67-79 another poetic outpouring by Zachariah, who knew what God was doing through him. I can pray this prayer as if it is mine.
