Gen 49:2,8-10 shows the consciousness of the chosen people as bearers of the word. With Jesus redemption passed to all peoples. Of this I am a part in this modern time in Oceania. Such is the graciousness of God.

Mt 1:1-17 this genealogy of Jesus seems unrelated until I remember there are only 5 degrees of separation between everyone and I too am closer than I think to being God’s favoured choice.
