Be thankful for everything
The Pharisees test Jesus by asking when the kingdom of God is coming. He surprises them with his reply - “Behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Are we in the midst of God’s kingdom through family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, flora and fauna, earth and sky? We must be if Jesus said it. There will be a “second coming” but we know not when or where. In the meantime shall we reflect on and be thankful for what surrounds us as being part of God’s kingdom. And pray as Suzanne Aubert taught her sisters - “Thanks be to God for all you have done and all you are doing for us.”
