Seek the Lord and his strength

Psalm 105 is a song of deliverance, important to Jews. It’s about God’s covenant with his people, and the long journey through trials to the promised land. This story is important for us too, because we believe that the story of covenant beginning with Abraham, has its fulfilment in Jesus Christ, and we celebrate that every day at mass. Covenant is ongoing. It is total commitment based on trust, and it is two-sided. God’s side is huge, ours is small. The way I see it, all God asks of us, is that we make room for his love.
