Loving the enemy

In reading the daily news we are often overwhelmed by the suffering and violence in the world. We are so powerless. What can we do ? Perhaps it just starts with what we can do in our own life. To try to heal division and offer forgiveness where we encounter discord. It might mean praying more deeply for the gift of a forgiving heart if we can’t let go of past hurts. Through his grace and we can grow in perfection. In small ways God’s power can work in us.
