An acceptable fast

Until the Bridegroom’s return, we are to fast. True fasting makes us ever-ready for the Lord’s return. True fasting is about living justly, freeing the oppressed and helping those in need. Such fasting is acceptable to the Lord. It is then that our light will shine and our wounds will be quickly healed. It is then that our integrity will march before us with the glory of the Lord following behind us. Then, when we cry, the Lord will answer and say, “I am here”
