The Lamb of God

Today’s Gospel presents another Jesus – perhaps the definitive one: the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The sacrificial Jesus who, in his love for me, suffered and died so that I would be forgiven – Jesus, my saviour. I owe him a debt I can never repay. The best I can do is to love him and to try to live a sacrificial life myself in the service of others.
