Perseverance is the key

Each in our own way, we are to live the Good News in such a way that the part of the world in which we live is a better place for our being there. Living the Good News, being the Good News of God’s love, depends utterly on our life of prayer and virtue. Jesus gave his disciples, and us, a set formula for prayer, not a magic formula; and perseverance is the magic formula for growing in prayer, holiness and virtue.
