Give sight to the blind

Jesus wants to heal us, to free us from the blindness of disbelief. His healing of the blind man shows how necessary the gift of spiritual vision is: it rescues us from being spiritual beggars and outcasts. It also challenges us – his ability to give the gift of sight to the blind man cannot be understood by people who refuse to see the possibility of a being greater than themselves.

Dear Lord, I pray for all people: that we may all see your glory and experience your love.
