Light from Light

“The Transfiguration reveals Christ’s divinity and shows that he alone is the true home of the Christian…the disciples saw…the divine glory of Jesus, which illuminates the whole history of salvation”. The Transfiguration shows that in “his oneness with the Father, Jesus is himself ‘light from light’.” (Pope Benedict XVI, 6 August 2006)

Dear Lord, I give you thanks for the mercy of salvation. My I always make my home in your presence and live in the light of your love.
