What do I treasure?

If you were asked to identify what you treasure most, what would you say? Would your spontaneous answer include the gift of love – of God, of your family, friends, or the world around you? What about faith in God’s word and hope in eternal salvation? What of the joy you experience when you feel completely connected to God and others? These are among the treasures Jesus wants us to value.

Dear Lord, thank you for all your gifts. May I value and use them as you intend, so that I may do your will in the world.
