The New Evangelisation

This year, 2013, the world reached a population of 7 billion. One-third of these People believe in and follow Jesus. The work that he began, and that Paul continued, is far from complete. Two thirds of the world do not yet have a conscious, dynamic, and fruitful relationship with the One who has given his life for them. There is an urgency here. All of us, baptised into Christ, have been baptised priest, prophet, and king. As priests we are to mediate his presence, as prophets we are to speak his word, as kings we are to lead by the example of service. Let us be faithful stewards then of the treasures with which God has entrusted us.
