Question: would I pass by an injured person lying on the roadside? Answer: of course not! But if I broaden the question: would I see a need, and not meet it? Umm ... well, it depends. I may not have enough time; or enough money; or it may be a major inconvenience; or it might just not be practical; or someone else will surely do it; or the Government will do it; or the Church will do it. See how easy it is to “walk by on the other side”?
