Faith

At mass we say, “Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.” In today’s Gospel from Luke we read the story of the centurion who said these words to Jesus. The centurion shows great faith in the word of God spoken by Jesus. He doesn’t even expect Jesus to come to his house to heal his servant. He knows Jesus’ word is enough to heal. Jesus recognises his faith. Jesus welcomes our faith too.
