Hosea 14:2-10, Ps. 81, Mark 12:28-34

You are not far from God’s kingdom.

The ‘kiss’ principle asks us to keep it simple. Love God. Love your neighbour. Love yourself. This can only happen if we do three simple, difficult things. Pray and put ourselves intentionally in the presence of God every day. Reach out and do things for other people every week. Spend reflective time with a spiritual director, friend or mentor every month. Once this triangle of simplicity gets moving we and others will not be far from the kingdom of God.
