God’s mysterious ways

mother of the new Samson
with power to save.

conceiving the Baptist
to prepare the way.
Mary,
God’s mysterious plan
began with barren women
and a virgin’s consent.

“It is a mystery,” said the angel to Manoah
and his wife. What is the mystery? That God
uses a way not imagined by us to begin
his work of salvation.
God is hidden in our
ordinary lives using what we consider worthless
to achieve his will
