Recognising need

A neighbour in need can be someone I know or do not know. What is important here is to recognise need and remove from my life the things that stop me doing that. Being too busy with ‘my own thing’ can stop me being prudent at a time and place God has chosen especially for me to be prudent and just. Being moved by the Holy Spirit means co-operating with God who chooses strange occasions for me to respond to particular needs at particular times.
