Testing, testing, testing

God tested Adam’s love for him by forbidding him to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He tested the Israelites during their wandering in the desert. He tests our faith and our love for him by the trials and temptations he allows us to undergo. But, as St Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 10, he never tests us beyond our strength. Praise his glorious Name.
