Ascension of the Lord

Following and praising

Can I enter into the world of the disciples this day? As Jesus Christ leaves them, they worshipped him until they were filled with joy. The promise of the coming of the Holy Spirit into my life is an event that Jesus Christ says will clothe me with a power from on high. Being clothed from on high is an experience which goes on throughout Catholic life. Sometimes this means I will have to let go the ease of my Christian clothing and feel a bit uncomfortable with myself. This can test my willingness to praise God in my discomfort.
