Pray with an honest heart

In John, a nobleman travels 24 km from Capernaum to Galilee to ask Jesus to heal his dying son. By coming all this way, Jesus sees the love the father has for his son. Jesus also sees deeper into the man and knows his belief in Jesus is shallow. Jesus points this out to him and the nobleman is humbled before Jesus. Now in humility the nobleman pleads again. It is then, that Jesus shows mercy and cures the boy. Jesus, help us pray to you in truthfulness, faith and humility.
