The gift of God

While the redeemer, the Immanuel, was foretold and longed for among the Jewish people of the Old Testament, Jesus’ arrival has now been and gone, and two thousand years have passed.Today is 9 months before Christmas. We celebrate that the Angel Gabriel came and announced to Mary she was to give birth to Jesus. After the visit was over, Mary was left in silence, and in the silence there was God. Help us listen and find God in the silence of our lives.
