Following the Lord
We glimpse the divinity of Christ today in the Gospel account of his Transfiguration on the mountain. He becomes radiant and glorified. His Father says again, as he did at Jesus’ baptism, “Behold, my beloved Son.” We yearn to see the Lord in glory as well, but often he is silent and distant. Faith often means following him and walking with him each day, trusting that he is there. But if we have patience, keep trusting and have faith, he will appear.
