Happy with life

All goodness comes from God, and we share in it as a sort of first fruits says St James today. Jesus also reminds his disciples not to be distracted by the ‘yeast’ of others which leads to suspicion and doubt about who he is. Jesus says – remember how I fed you and the multitude of people with a few loaves and fishes. It is not good to allow things to ferment in us and turn sour. What the Lord feeds us with is life and joy. The ‘good food’ of faith makes us happy and satisfied with life.
