The heart of the matter

Jesus calls each one of us to his wedding feast. If we are to hear his call and respond appropriately to his invitation we need to have an open ear and a listening heart. We can become so caught up in the busyness of the world that we grow deaf to God’s word in our lives. As a consequence we may live to regret deeply the missed opportunity.

Blessed are we when we say “Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.”
