Listen before you speak

Before providing answers, it is a good idea to find out what the question is. Zealous evangelisers sometimes forget this. How would you feel if a stranger started to tell you how you should live your life. If you treat others as you would like to be treated, you will listen before you speak. Hungry pigs in search of food don't even notice the pearls. A person who is drowning doesn't want a sermon. Identify the need and respond appropriately. Meet people where they are.
