Work brings dignity

All work, whether paid or unpaid, is service. Work done to the best of one’s ability and with a sense of pride can bring meaning and purpose to the life of the worker. Paul and Barnabas brought the Word of God to the people in Antioch and elsewhere. Jesus lived among the people doing the work of his father. What is my daily work? How do I carry out my daily tasks? What is my attitude to my work? Thank you, God, for the nurses and all the workers on the frontline in the face of Covid-19. Help us all to do our work to help keep our country safe.
