Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9; Psalm 147:12-20; Matthew 5:17-19

Pass wisdom on

Moses has a special message for parents, grandparents, and older brothers and sisters: know the customs, family values, and laws that build up families and communities, and pass them on. The things you value in your heart – tell them to your children and to your children’s children – even if they don’t seem interested. In the gospel Jesus encourages us to keep the commandments and teach them. Let me pray in thanksgiving today for those who have passed wisdom on to me.
