St Mary Magdalene, Disciple of the Lord.

Songs 3:1-4, Ps 63, John 20:1-2,11-18

I will seek whom my heart loves

Mary Magdalene was a friend whom Jesus had healed, indeed he had cast seven devils from her. Who knows what a nightmare her life was before that. She was the first to witness the risen Jesus, a reward for her utter loyalty to him at his death. “I found him whom my heart loves”. God will reward us for standing by friends and family in hard times.
