A model for families

Paul’s letter to the Colossians give us a rich picture of what family life could be like and certainly a picture of the daily life of Mary, Joseph and Jesus in Nazareth: bear with one another, forgive, pray together, be thankful and peace will reign in your home. Perhaps today we might re-read this wonderful passage very slowly, praying that our own family or community might become a little more like this, a little more like the Holy Family.
