Sharing the kingdom
Love is the key to understanding the kingdom of God and its presence amongst us. Yet the kingdom and love seem elusive. We talk about it. We plan how we will bring the kingdom into being. Can I be more spontaneous around the presence of the kingdom in my life? It is easy to get a sense of the kingdom when life goes well. It is much harder to contemplate its presence when suffering and evil plague our world. Yet the kingdom is here because God’s utter love is here for the taking and sharing. My smallest act of compassion and kindness, puts new heart into those who long for the kingdom.
