All Souls

Isaiah 25:6-9; Psalm 27; Romans 5:5-11; Luke 7: 11-17

Hopeful hearts

It is very comforting to know that Jesus Christ is with us when we meet the death of loved ones and when we come to face our own death. Our hope that we will go on sharing life with our loved ones is renewed today. This hope is not deceptive, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts which hope. Isaiah speaks of the power of this love to wipe away tears. The world cannot understand this generous love of God that extends beyond human concepts of time. Can I enter into this love as a holy soul with all other Holy Souls?
