Isaiah 65:17-21; Psalm 30; John 4:43-54

Praise God

The time for weeping and tears is over and God creates a new heaven and a new earth. We are so familiar with the cycle of sadness and dying and gladness and living that we can be in danger of forgetting that life follows death, joy and gladness follow sorrow. Let us today praise God for God’s faithfulness to us and, like the official with his son, be encouraged to trust that all will be well in our world. Praise and honour to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for you have come to my help.
