Romans 5:12, 15, 17-21; Psalm 40; Luke 12:35-38

Grace was even greater

While St Paul teaches that human sin and death are the bitter fruit of Adam’s original sin, he proclaims repeatedly, “it is even more certain that divine grace, coming through the one man, Jesus Christ, came to so many as an abundant free gift”. Jesus embodies the free gift of God’s love and mercy. He invites us to open the door of our heart to receive him because he, our Lord and Saviour, comes to serve!

Lord, grant me the grace of a loving, repentant heart.
