The Guardian Angels (M)

Exodus 23:20-23; Psalm 91; Matthew 18:1-5, 10

You will find refuge

Thank God for your Guardian Angel! God comforts us: “I myself will send an angel before you to guard you as you go and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. Give him reverence … My angel will go before you”. And, Jesus, welcoming the little children, speaks of the angels who guard the children. As a child, I was taught to pray to my Guardian Angel:

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here; forever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
