Our presence

We are to be the Lord's disciples, whatever our situation. We must live and work honestly, with integrity. Farmers, carers, teachers, shop assistants, IT workers, priests, religious, homemakers - everyone. We try to see Jesus in each person we meet, and hope that by our actions they may see Jesus in us. Do our actions show we believe in Jesus Christ? Around the world, 1 May is Workers' Day. Our example is St Joseph the worker. His closeness to the Son of God gave him no perks. He laboured daily in his carpenter's workshop, working honestly in his community, and by his family life, obeying God.
