Solemnity of St Joseph

Joseph is described as an ‘honourable man’ in the Gospel today. And that is what he was. He was prepared to believe what the angel told him in a dream and act on it, despite the difficult circumstances involved. We can often find ourselves in situations not of our own making and maybe even resent it at times. To follow the example of St Joseph is to do the right thing so that good my come from it.
