Slow to believe

As human beings, we can be a distracted and disgruntled lot at times. Christ experienced this in his own time and so do we. No matter what the Lord does for us, we can be slow to fully believe the message of the good news he gives to us. We get distracted and fascinated by trivial things. Advent is a time to look again and rediscover the awe and wonder of our faith, and take it to heart. The power of Christ guiding and strengthening our lives is a true gift of Christmas.
