Humble souls

What part does prayer play in my faith life? Do I just shoot off a few petitionary prayers to heaven when something goes wrong? Am I stuck in my daily reflections on the Word, not getting anything out of them? Do I find the liturgy of the Mass, which should uplift me, repetitively boring? Perhaps I am lacking humility when I come before God in prayer. Jesus Christ wants me to be humble before him. He connects humility with faith. Strong humility, strong faith. Try to be more humble. Prayer will become more interesting and fruitful.
