Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil

Filled with awe

The Easter Exultet speaks of the ‘necessary sin of Adam, which gained for us so great a Redeemer.’ The Exultet itself, like the women at the tomb, is ‘filled with awe.’ And so are we. God died on the cross; a man rose from the dead. May wonder and awe fill our hearts and souls as we bathe in the light of the risen Christ!
