Solitude

There is a yearning in each of us to grow in self-knowledge and to be at peace with what we find within ourselves. That yearning is nurtured when we experience solitude. In solitude we have the opportunity to nourish the soul. Solitude offers us a place for intimacy with self and a place where we can find God. Jesus led his disciples to such a place, a lonely place where they could be alone with him, with themselves and with God. It was a place to pray. Can you find such a space for yourself today?
