The mind of Christ

The mind of Christ is shown in the Lord’s Prayer, the Our Father, and in the key teachings like the beatitudes and significant parables such as the Good Samaritan, the Prodigal Son, the Lost Coin. His mind is also shown in the miracles he worked – such as the miracle in the Synagogue at Capernaum. In the Gospel passages read on weekdays, with the exception of special feast days, we will from now until late November be hearing/reading extracts from Luke’s Gospel (chapters 4-21). Luke’s Gospel is frequently called the Gospel of Mercy.
