St Lawrence was most active in caring for the needy and poor – a verse from Psalm 111 reminds us ‘open handed he gives to the poor, his justice stands firm for ever.’ Let us see ways that our time, talents and treasure can be made active in caring for the poor and needy. A neighbour? A family member? A refugee half the world away? Remembering them at prayer?
