Fullness of Redemption

“God can take our little and make of it a lot.” This could be a summary of five loaves and two fish multiplied to feed thousands of hungry people, with twelve baskets full of scraps! Indeed, teach me your ways, O Lord. St Alphonsus Ligouri, remembered today, chose for the Redemptorists this motto: “The Fullness of Redemption.” We have received the generous mercy of God – so let us imitate both generosity and mercy.
