St Joseph

Trust

Joseph trusted his sense of God’s call to him. A call that at a surface level incited shame and confusion, yet he was open to what he couldn’t comprehend and chose to go with it. His relationship with God, his prayerfulness and care placed him in a space of openness to God’s invitation. As Mary’s husband, their love provided the parenting for Jesus. Are we able to trust God’s invitation within our own experience? Can we love and care for those for whom we are not related but are in need of our care?
