To what purpose

Q/ Of which must I take more care, my body or my soul? A/ I must take much more care of my soul for Christ has said, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and suffers the loss of his own soul.” That’s the second number in the Penny Catechism. It explains why the Lord Jesus instructs us to deny ourselves. It helps us achieve life’s purpose; of making it to heaven.
