The temple

The Lord Jesus fulfilled Malachi’s prophecy when Joseph and Mary brought him into the temple for the first time. The temple was the centre for Jewish worship, the only place where sacrifices could be offered. But now we are God’s temple.” Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Cor.6: 19-20)
