The gift of life

Jesus came into our world so that we might have life forever. It is his gift for each of us. To receive the gift we must believe in Jesus Christ and live our lives as a testimony to that gift. It is difficult to comprehend the fullness of this gift with our finite minds and hearts. Let us imagine ourselves being baptised in the river Jordon and hear the voice from heaven saying to us, “You are my beloved daughter/son; my favour rests on you.” Let us live as one who is beloved by God.
