Generous giving.

The psalm response today is “This is the people that longs to see your face”. Was this the poor widow’s prayer as she gave her all? Are you often inspired by the generosity of people who appear to have little and yet are prepared to share and give what they have with others without expecting anything in return? How can I live generously today and do something unexpectedly for another? May the Prayer for generosity “God teach me to be generous, to give without counting the cost...” be on our lips today.
